BCU 3 Star Touring Award

River Touring - BCU 3 Star Award. Are you a recreational paddler who wants to move on to extended trips and up your skill level? If so, this award is for you. The course looks at river skills and environmental considerations so that you can consider yourself an intermediate paddler.These include efficient forward & reverse paddling, manoeuvring, support strokes and rescues.

Cost:

  • £115 per person, including any water fees.
  • BCU fee payable of £10 for members, £20 for non members
  • Canoes can be hired for an extra £10 for the course duration
