Fancy gliding down a river with the sun on your back and the bird song to keep you company? Would you like to learn how to control your own kayak or canoe, improve your skills or master moving water? All in North Yorkshire or the North East.
Using our fleet of open canoes and kayaks we can offer family picnics to skills training for more challenging expeditions. We provide skills training from complete beginners up to grade 2 moving water and touring in both kayak and canoe, or you can hire a canoe from us for your own expedition!
We are able to offer you certificated training in personal skills from Starter sessions, British Canoe Union 1 and 2 Star, 3 Star White Water Kayak, Canoe and Touring plus Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT).

The Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT) course is for all paddlers irrespective of craft and is ideal for club members and anybody who wishes to increase their paddle sport skill level.
Enjoy a day out in North Yorkshire or the North East on the lovely Rivers Ure, Ouse or the Tees. Using a Canoe or Kayak lets you enjoy watching the wildlife and scenery go by at a leisurely pace. Hire the boats yourself or use one of our guides.

Using a Canadian canoe, or open boat as they are known, is a great way to get on the water and explore rivers and lakes. Stable and roomy, you can sit comfortably in them and still have plenty of room for food, camping equipment etc.
