Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) course. This is an Ofqual accredited, Level 3, course delivered through the awarding organisation ITC First. River mountain Experience are an approved provider for ITC First and meet all the due diligence checks require for a first Aid provider.
The EPFA qualification is designed for workers who care for children in the absence of their parents. It indicates that an individual can undertake the role of first aider in a position that has responsibility of caring for infants and children. It may also have been identified as necessary by a workplace risk assessment. The EPFA qualification will benefit all who spend time in the early years environment and with pre-puberty children.

The HSE strongly recommend candidates take an annual 3 hour refresher during the lifetime of the qualification.
The qualification is revalidated by attending another EPFA course after 3 years.
