If you have ever wanted to Start Canoeing, this half day introduction would be a good place to start. Either on your own (solo) or with a partner (tandem), we will take you through the basics to get you moving and learning about the boats, equipment and where you can paddle. At the end you will have completed the British Canoeing Start Award and, be on your way to a whole new way of spending your leisure time.

The cost is from £58 and includes all equipment, instruction and fee to use the lake. The course runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Please come dressed in warm comfortable clothing that dries easily. Bring waterproof jacket and trousers and a warm hat, don’t forget a drink and a snack. There is a good cafe not very far form the lake for lunch when you have finished.
